Today (July 30, 2022) at 11 AM, Mahindra began accepting reservations for the brand-new Scorpio-N in India, setting a new record. Within 30 minutes, the brand-new Mahindra Scorpio-N received over 1 lakh reservations totaling Rs 18,000 crore.
The business asserts that within one minute of the reservations starting, the first 25,000 orders were received.It is important to note that the mid-size SUV’s introductory prices will only be good for the first 25,000 bookings; after that, the corporation will impose the higher prices in effect at the time of delivery.
The new Mahindra Scorpio-ex-showroom N’s starting price for 2022 is between Rs 11.99 lakh and Rs 23.90 lakh.Up to midnight on August 15, Mahindra is allowing consumers to change their booking information, including the variant and color chosen. Beginning on September 26, Mahindra Scorpio-N deliveries will be made.
The roll-out of the top-spec Z8 L variants will be prioritized, and the business estimates that over 20,000 units of the Scorpio-N will be supplied through December 2022.
By the end of August 2022, the business promises to let consumers know when their Scorpio-N will arrive. Regarding specs, India offers two engine choices for the new Scorpio-N. It has a 2.0-liter mStallion turbocharged petrol engine with 380 Nm and 197 horsepower.The alternative engine is a 2.2-liter mHawk diesel engine that, depending on the version, may produce up to 173 horsepower and 400 Nm.
A 6-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed torque-converter AT with Mahindra’s 4 XPLOR 4WD system are transmission choices. There are other features added to the brand-new Mahindra Scorpio-N as well.
This mid-size SUV will compete against several SUVs priced under Rs 30 lakh, such as the Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus, Hyundai Alcazar, Mahindra XUV700, Jeep Compass, and others.
The prices for subsequent reservations will be determined by the rates in effect at the time of delivery. Online and dealership reservations for the all-new Scorpio-N will still be taken.
