Commonwealth Games 2022: India added two more gold medals to its collection on the third day of the 2018 Commonwealth Games when weightlifters Jeremy Lalrinnunga and Achinta Sheuli won the prizes in the 67kg and 73kg categories, respectively. While the men’s hockey squad dominated their season after dismissing Ghana’s challenge, the Indian men’s table tennis team also advanced to the semifinals. India also advanced to the mixed team event semifinals in badminton.
All eyes will now be on the fourth day when pugilist Amit Panghal will be in action. In badminton, the Indian team will compete in the mixed team event, while the Indian men’s hockey squad will play in England.
